
Return policy
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase you may return it to Tech docs for an exchange or refund within 7 days of purchase. Items with original packing and receipt will be exchanged or refunded for the original purchase price, to the original payment method. Without all original packaging, or receipt, at TECH DOCS’ sole discretion item will be exchanged or refunded at the lowest advertised price, as store-credit, within 7 business days. All refunds are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.
Labor charges, software, custom built orders, special-order items and consumable items are non-refundable. Photo ID must be present for refunds. See store for further details.
For a refund or exchange, all products must be returned within 7 days of original purchase date. See details below.
Original receipt must accompany product to be returned / exchanged.
Product must be in original box with original accessories, packaging, and manuals, in undamaged, clean, and brand- new condition.
Products returned within policy with the UPC code missing from the box may only be accepted back as an exchange for the exact item, less the current amount, if any.
Product that is returned incomplete, damaged, or with serial number missing or tampered with will not be accepted for return.
If any storage device has been written to, returns are no longer eligible.
If the product returned has any data or information stored on a memory or storage device, TECH DOCs shall not be responsible for the transfer of such data or information to another product given to the customer as an exchange, or for the loss of any data or information or to maintain the confidentiality of any data or information still residing on the returned product.
Software is non-returnable.
Any product that is physically damaged, altered, or tampered with will not be accepted for return.
Printers are only returnable if the ink/toner is unopened. Open boxes will not be accepted for return.
Consumable items such as laser toner, ink cartridges, batteries, etc. are returnable only if unopened. If defective, items will be exchanged for the exact item only.
Refunds will be issued as follows: (1) Credit card purchases by credit issued to the credit card used in the original purchase transaction (2) Debit card purchases by credit issued to the debit card used in the original purchase transaction (3) Cash purchases by cash, unless the refund is over $500, which will then be refunded by a check.
Refund checks are mailed the 10th day from the date merchandise is returned.
Service, delivery, and installation charges are non-refundable once performed.
Special order items, such as items ordered for specific repairs, and cut cable/wire are non-returnable.
